Witches & Warlocks

It’s time again for the annual Witches (and Warlocks) Night Out! 

We’ll kick things off a CCB Plaza with some witchy shenanigans and many of our downtown businesses are staying open with witchy specials. 

Start your night at CCB Plaza with DJ tunes, pumpkin painting, crafts, tarot reading, and more! 

Find tricks and treats around town. Join us on October 16th from 6:00-9:00 PM as your favorite downtown businesses stay open late for an evening full of enchanting experiences and irresistible promotions.

Submit an event:

The Third Friday Durham Event Calendar is used to promote arts-related events and activities taking place in Durham County on the Third Friday of each month. 

Event organizers are also encouraged to use the hashtag #thirdfridaydurham on social media, and to invite @thirdfridaydurham to collaborate on Instagram.

Requirements for Submission

All events must:

  • occur within Durham County
  • be open to the general public
  • take place on the third Friday of the month
  • take place between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., or overlap this window

Downtown Durham, Inc. maintains full editorial control over all submitted events, including the right to exclude events as necessary. The Third Friday Durham Event Calendar is for informational purposes only and does not imply endorsement by DDI. Please allow up to 2-3 business days for your event to appear on the calendar.

Public events may require permitting, which is not handled by DDI. Please visit the City of Durham special events page to ensure proper permits have been secured.
