The Event Calendar is used to promote events and activities taking place in downtown Durham. Items submitted to the Event Calendar may also appear in DDI social media and electronic newsletters. The Event Calendar is a free service provided by Downtown Durham, Inc.

Requirements for submission:
All events must:
- occur within the downtown Durham Business Improvement District
- be open to the general public
Downtown Durham, Inc. maintains full editorial control over all submitted events, including the right to exclude events as necessary. The Event Calendar is for informational purposes only and does not imply endorsement by DDI. Please allow up to 2-3 business days for your event to appear on the calendar.
Public events may require permitting, which is not handled by DDI. Please visit the City of Durham special events page to ensure proper permits have been secured.
