Experience art whenever you’re downtown by visiting one of these venues. They are free to visit, but most offer artwork for sale. Support local artists, and add beautiful works to your collection!

The Third Friday Durham Event Calendar is used to promote arts-related events and activities taking place in Durham County on the Third Friday of each month.
Event organizers are also encouraged to use the hashtag #thirdfridaydurham on social media, and to invite @thirdfridaydurham to collaborate on Instagram.

The Third Friday Durham Event Calendar is for informational purposes only and does not imply endorsement by DDI. Please allow up to 2-3 business days for your event to appear on the calendar.
Public events may require permitting, which is not handled by DDI. Please visit the City of Durham special events page to ensure proper permits have been secured.
