The League of Upper Extremity Wrestling Women of Durham (LUEWWD, pronounced “lewd”) will host its 20th theatrical and competitive arm wrestling fundraiser on Saturday, March 7, at Motorco Music Hall in Durham, NC. The event begins at 7:30 p.m., with tickets available for $12 plus fees in advance and $20 at the door. For 16 years, LUEWWD has brought the Durham community together through high-energy, costumed arm wrestling competitions that raise critical funds for local causes. This milestone 20th event continues that tradition, with all proceeds benefiting two organizations working to ensure community members have reliable access to food: Urban Community AgriNomics (UCAN) and PORCH Chapel Hill- Carrboro.

The March 7 showdown will feature eight costumed contestants, each backed by a four-member entourage, battling it out for four coveted titles:

Madame Moneymaker: Awarded to the contestant who raises the most funds for LUEWWD’s nonprofit partners
Durham Diva: Best costume and entourage
Queen of the Losers: Winner of the losers’ bracket
LUEWWD Champion: The overall arm wrestling victor
