Larry and Joe present VIVA VENEZUELA: A Benefit Show

Larry & Joe perform at The Fruit on Sunday, July 12th for a matinee benefit concert to support disaster relief and recovery aid efforts following the historic earthquakes in Venezuela. 100% of ticket sales to the United Nations Development Programme.

ABOUT LARRY & JOE:
GRAMMY-nominated bluegrass and oldtime musician, Joe Troop, and Venezuelan legend of Llanera music, Larry Bellorín, perform under the stage moniker LARRY & JOE.

Currently based in the Triangle of North Carolina, both men are versatile multi-instrumentalists and singer-songwriters on a mission to show that music has no borders.

Featuring a distinct blend of their musical inheritances and traditions, as well as storytelling about the ways that music and social movements coalesce, the duo perform a fusion of Venezuelan and Appalachian folk music on harp, banjo, cuatro, fiddle, maracas, guitar, upright bass, and whatever else they decide to throw in the van.

Tickets are “Pay What You Can” with a suggested sliding scale donation.
Doors open at 2:30pm.
Show begins at 3pm.
