Introduction to Linoleum Stamp Carving

In this beginner-friendly class, students will learn the basics of carving linoleum blocks to create their own stamps. Each student will be provided with a blank 2″ x 2″ square block of linoleum, drawing paper, transfer paper, and a variety of carving tools to design and carve their own stamp. Printing materials such as paint, ink, and paper will be provided. Each student will leave with a completed stamp and a custom stamped bookmark if they wish. Additional blocks are available for purchase should students wish to create further stamps during the class period.
