The Durham Art Guild presents, “I AM AN ANCESTOR TOO” featuring new works by DAG and the Black on Black Project’s 2022 Artist in Residence, Assata Goff. Assata is a multi-media artist and animator born and raised in Durham, NC. “I AM AN ANCESTOR TOO” is an immersive mixed-media experience that explores themes of eco-futurism and radical self-love through a black, queer, magical realism lens.
