"My Roots," recent paintings by Cornelio Campos, will be featured in the Durham Arts Council's Allenton Gallery from January 10-March 12, 2020. The opening reception for the exhibit will be held in conjunction with Third Friday Durham, January 17 from 6-8pm. Cornelio Campos is a self-taught Mexican-American artist based in Durham. "Process Is Work" is an exhibition displaying the artistic process of documentary painter Anthony Patterson. Over the past year Patterson has immersed himself in the history of the Crest Street Community in Durham, N.C. where he was born and raised. This exhibition features his notes, ideas, research, in-progress works and messages from the elders of the community.This exhibition is co-presented by the Black on Black Project and the Durham Art Guild.
