Looking for things to do downtown with your kids? Or someplace to get a great lunch for under $10? We’ve got you covered. In partnership with Best of Bull, DDI is curating lists of places to go, things to do, one-of-a-kind places to shop and great food to eat in downtown.
We’ve kicked off The List with a social distancing friendly collection of downtown restaurants offering ‘take and make’ eats and drinks, or provisions for you to stock up on pantry items and household goods.
Where to Find Take-and Bake Dishes, Meal Kits and Pantry Essentials from Downtown Durham Restaurants
Luckily, many downtown Durham restaurants are staying open for takeout and delivery services at this time, as local dining rooms stay closed, and grocery lines and product availability remain stressful and unpredictable. To help offer different dining options, many restaurants are also saving you the trouble of planning meal after meal by offering take-and bake meals, at-home cooking kits, and prepared family meals. There’s also a few restaurants that are adding surplus products and pantry essentials to their line up. You can grab family meals and toilet paper from Maverick’s, make craft cocktails at home with Kingfisher’s Bee Durham Kit, take and bake Luna’s empanadas, and much more.
