For the Sales Assistant Position, Sound Pure is seeking a reliable, highly personable, detail-oriented, proactive communicator to accelerate personal outreach to our customer base, while supporting the daily needs of Sound Pure Sales Specialist(s) for which you are assigned.
This role is a key support role to our sales operation, consisting of reaching out (phone calls and email follow-ups to our customer base), updating customers on new opportunities, setting appointments, making warm call transfers, logging all customer interactions, and facilitating the customer journey by supporting our Sales Leaders. The role is one that spans customer service, marketing communication (via telephone outreach), and sales support.
As a small, growing, exciting, and entrepreneurially spirited music business, aside from this primary job responsibility, other roles to support the operation of the facility and business (see below) are an additional part of this important role.
This is a growth-oriented position. Those that excel will have the opportunity to grow into a full-blown Sound Pure Sales Specialist in one of our departments (Recording, Guitars, or Drums). Those candidates with a background in musical instruments such as guitar and/or drums, or have a background or interest in music recording equipment would be ideal candidates for this position. The Opportunity
During your initial training period, you will be exposed to a wide knowledge of guitars, drums, and recording equipment across many areas – including manufacturers, manufacturing techniques, tonal characteristics, and the matching of these to customer interests and recording signal path desires.

Specific Responsibilities of the Role:
Achieve/Exceed Customer Outreach Targets
Set up appointments for the sales team around customer needs
Acquire and Transfer Leads generated through outreach
Prequalify customers prior to transfers of appointment setting
Backup for all inbound calls on sales roll-over line
Use “scripted” outreach and CRM follow-up protocol
Support sales team by Maintaining the CRM (Customer Relationship Management Software), including Logging all customer interactions, Updating customer profiles, and Maintaining up-to-date follow-up tasks for customers
“No customer left behind” with customers seeking help (who may be “lost in the CRM”)
Send email follow-ups on behalf of sales team members
Basic manufacturer availability communications acting as an intermediary between the customer, sales team, and manufacturer
Building productive relationships with customers and prospects
Master available sales tools, products, processes, and systems
Attendance: Perfect, on-time attendance at all sales meetings
Other Miscellaneous Team Supported Duties as Assigned
Quarterback of In-store walk-ins, appointments, tours, delivery of “elevator pitch”
Customer Service interactions for repairs (calls and drop-offs)
Pre-shipping detail inspections, prior to orders going out (visual + accessories)
Management of showroom appointments, calendar, pre/post-visit cleanup, and showroom setup, and customer communication around visit (such as covid protocols)
Mastering all Sound Pure Systems and Processes (and Test out)
Learning all Departmental Expertise Documentation and Test Out (overtime)

Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma
Proficiency in using computer software
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs
Ability to self manage and take initiative (does not wait to be told what needs doing)

Preferred Background (not a job requirement)
1 Year Customer Service, Sales, or Retail Experience (in-person, or call center)
Experience Documenting/Logging phone calls in a CRM or equivalent
A strong passion for recording and music technology and the ability to record (although not necessarily professionally)
4-year college degree preferred, but not required
Interest in boutique music products
