During Downtown Durham Feast month, everyone is invited to eat or drink downtown, and enter to win a weekly grand prize of a one-night stay at a downtown hotel, a gift basket with samples of goodies from downtown retailers and a $100 SpendaBull e-gift card, accepted by many downtown merchants.

And as an extra special “Thank you,” we’re offering a bonus grand prize each week to some of downtown’s best customers.

Week One • Feb. 14-20

How It Works

From Feb. 14 – Mar. 13, send us a copy of your receipt every time you visit and make a food or beverage purchase at one of downtown’s restaurants, bars, breweries, meaderies, cideries, distilleries or wineries, and we’ll enter you in one of two weekly drawings.

You can submit one receipt per day per merchant. (So if you eat dinner at a restaurant, then get dessert at an ice cream shop or bakery, then get drinks at a bar or brewery, that’s three separate receipts and three entries.)

Rules:

  1. Each entry is valid only for the week in which it is submitted. On Sunday at 12:01 a.m., all the previous week’s entries are cleared, and the submissions begin for the upcoming week.
  2. Winners will be required to show ID. For the bonus drawings, winners must show proof that they qualify for a specific week’s drawing, e.g. college ID, work badge, pay stub, etc.
  3. DDI will verify winning receipts with the merchant.
  4. There is no minimum purchase amount.
  5. Participants must be 18 or older to win.
  6. Winners must be able to pick up their prize in person.
  7. All prizes must be claimed by Mar. 31, 2022

FAQs:

  • Can I enter both the general and bonus drawings with the same receipt?
    • No. Each receipt can be used for only one drawing.
  • Do purchases made with a SpendaBull e-gift card count?
    • Yes! Downtown Durham Feast month is a great time to use your SpendaBull card.
  • Do online purchases count?
    • Yes! Take a screenshot or send a copy of your electronic receipt.
