Zoe Boekbinder – LIVE (stream) at The Pinhook – ONLINE
April 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
You’ve probably heard that artists and small business (like music venues) are struggling financially right now. We found a way to keep doing what we do, only virtually. We were going to host a live performance by Zoe Boekbinder at The Pinhook but they had to cancel their tour. We depend on tickets sales to keep our doors open, as much as Zoe does to pay their bills. So we are continuing with the concert but hosting it on the INTERNET! Please tune in and donate if you can. The world of independent music is at risk right now, with musicians out of work, and the venues they depend on losing revenue. We want to continue to offer live music to soothe you in your isolation.

“Zoe Boekbinder opens mouth, and the voice that comes out is ageless, beautiful, heartbreaking and wise. Zoe looks so young, and so innocent. I think kidnapped a marvelous singer from long ago Paris, and stole her voice. It’s the only explanation.” – Neil Gaiman
Co-founder of the Prison Music Project, an album in collaboration with men currently and formerly incarcerated in New Folsom, a maximum security prison in California (produced by Ani DiFranco).
Zoe’s original style of folk and bluesy guitar, their haunting and melodic voice, and their piercingly political yet bravely vulnerable lyrics can only be described as magic.
