About Musical Empowerment:
Musical Empowerment is a nonprofit celebrating 20 years of service in their summer event series; including a documentary screening, benefit concert, and discussion panel. Since 2002, Musical Empowerment has offered free music lessons to children from marginalized communities. Our college volunteers not only teach music lessons but also transform their student’s relationships with music! Students with a mentor are more likely to graduate high school, attend college and become mentors themselves.
We’re 100% community-supported by generous individuals and charitable foundations. If you feel it in your heart to donate please go to our website at: https://musical-empowerment.org. If you or someone you know would like to sponsor one of our events please reach out directly to [email protected].
