Remona Jeannine is a Durham, NC based singer-songwriter currently working on her second album Draw What You See to be released later this year. Her new EP For Now is literally what she has to offer at present as she continues to stitch together the full length album. For Now is a home recorded EP salvaged from a larger collection of recordings made in quiet rooms and a little A-liner called Alaska.
Drawing influences from Old Time Music to Bluegrass to the Jazz vocalists, she has cultivated her a unique sound. Her voice moves in and out of her songs with playful precision, restraint and occasional crescendos. Her smooth vocals can take unexpected turns and short dives resulting in interesting and soothing moments meant to move and connect with her audience.
