Kate Musselwhite Tobey is a maker of music, stories and spaces. She recently moved to her hometown of Greensboro after a decade in the Washington, D.C. area. Her day jobs have been in journalism, production and innovation—but music has always been her passion. She grew up singing and playing violin and, since returning to Greensboro, has loved connecting locally with musicians like Lyn Koonce, Sam Frazier, Quilla among others plus the band at First Presbyterian Church downtown. She lives in Fisher Park with her husband and two young sons. @katemtobeykatemtobey.com
Laura Jane Vincent
LV is a performer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter. She writes ballads of strength loss and triumph featuring stories of those who should know better but just simply can’t help themselves. She lives in southeastern NC in a 200 year old farmhouse with her husband and bandmate, drummer Dave Tippetts. She was named by the Triad Music Festival AMPD Expo as songwriter of the year for 2017. She is the creator and curator of the twice annual music festival Glendonfest. Established in 2016, the event features 25+ regional and national touring acts over two days in the spring and fall.
Casey Noel Perkins
Casey Noel is a Triad singer/songwriter and has been playing guitar since the age of five. Casey Noel brings a blend of folk, country, blues, and pop to her unique rasp and powerful sound. She possesses a pure vocal quality that is both distinct and mesmerizing. Though fairly new to the Triad music scene, she has become a crowd favorite at a variety of different venues throughout the Triad area. She has performed at The Reeves Theater, Muddy Creek Music Hall, The Blind Tiger, Main Cellar City Club and others. Her passion for singing and songwriting has her poised to make a big impact on the NC Triad music scene and beyond. Casey is also the creator and host of Spotlight Sessions, a bi-monthly singer/songwriter round that for the past year and a half has exposed the Triad to a plethora of talented singer/songwriters from the NC area.She is currently working with Doug Williams of ElectroMagnetic Radiation Recorders in Winston Salem on her first EP!!! Be on the lookout for “Pretty Words” to release in the Spring of 2020.
