King Nobuyoshi Godwin – 5 Points Gallery Featured Artist – Exhibition & Third Friday Reception
December 16 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
5 Points Gallery is excited to present King Nobuyoshi Godwin. King has autism and a form of synesthesia, a condition in which the perception of one sensory experience triggers another. For King, numerical synesthesia means that numbers are connected to feelings and experiential stories. Named one of Raleigh Magazine’s “New Influentials,” he paints with a sense of wonder that reminds us of the simple joys in life. This exhibition runs from November 17-December 23. Join us for our Third Friday Reception November 18, 6-9pm. Meet our Triangle-based artists and view their latest works in a range of mediums including painting, sculpture, fused glass, and mixed media. Visit us for the Durham Holiday Art Market to acquire special gifts of local art for those on your holiday shopping list November 19, 10-9pm and November 20, 1-5pm.
Visit 5 Points Gallery in person or online from your home, and shop on our website at https://5pointsgallery.com. All work from this exhibition can be shipped or picked up at the gallery. Our hours are Thursdays 4-8pm, Fridays 5-9pm and Saturdays 1-9pm. Artists are on hand to talk to you about the works.
