Introducing Ley Killeya – Third Friday Opening Reception January 19

5 Points Gallery is honored to welcome Ley Killeya as our new artist member. Ley is an English painter and printmaker who moved to the Triangle area from New Jersey in 2002. Taking influences from artists including Matisse, Hyangmok Bail, Egon Schiele and NC artist Reneesha McCoy, she is interested in exploring how our bodies, and the ways others read them, are used to confer power, limit rights, exercise control, and interrogate identity. Join us in welcoming Ley at our Third Friday Opening Reception January 19, 6-9pm. Meet the artists and view the latest works by our ten Triangle-based artists in a range of mediums including painting, sculpture, fused glass, and mixed media.
