“Feed the Baby” Book Launch Party

Join us for a “Sip and See” to celebrate the arrival of “Feed The Baby” by local author and lactation consultant Victoria Facelli and support the NC Diaper Bank on Saturday, August 12 from 12-3pm.

We are gathering to celebrate the beauty of Durham families with complimentary family portraits by photographer Kallyn Boerner, a children’s story time with beloved Durham storyteller Ms. Amy Godfrey at 12:30pm, and temporary tattoos by the book’s illustrator and tattoo artist, Ayden Love of The Tiny Fire. Emerald Doulas will have a cool-down feeding zone with doulas to answer all your birth and baby questions. The Regulator will have copies of “Feed The Baby” available for sale and the author will be available for signings.

This event is free and open to people of all ages, so bring the kids! We will be raising funds and collecting diapers for the NC Diaper Bank, so bring any open packs of diapers and join in on the raffle with items from: Ev Quilts, Tootie Bootie Cloth Diapers, Alley 26, Luna Rotisserie & Empanadas, Tiny, and The Wonderlab.

The Durham will have mimosas, The Durham Coffee Soda, mocktails, cookies, and Banana Pudding Foster sundaes by Bold Batch Creamery available for purchase on the Roof.
