Durham Art Guild Swing into Spring Fundraiser – ONLINE

March 30 - April 6

Swing Into Spring is THE major annual fundraiser for the Durham Art Guild and a big part of how DAG is able to connect artists to the community and our community to the arts. By joining in on the celebration and supporting Swing Into Spring, you make a significant difference within our organization and greater community by providing numerous opportunities for continued artistic enrichment and connection.

PLACE YOUR BIDS on 75 works of art generously donated by local artists and 12 unique packages and experiences featuring some fantastic local establishments! MAKE A DONATION in any amount to get us even closer to our $22,000 goal! No tickets required, anyone can bid and donate! All Swing Into Spring donors and auction winners will be entered in a drawing for 4 prizes – each with a limited edition print and a six-pack of beer from Hi-Wire Brewing.

This event generates 25% of our annual revenue, so your support is ESSENTIAL to sustaining our programs and operations this year and into the future. We need YOU to make these events and programs possible:

  • 20+ exhibits across 4+ venues showcasing the work of 300+ artists.
  • The Creative Mentorship Program, which pairs local high school students and professional artists in creative collaboration and exploration.
  • The Artist in Residence Program, which provides local emerging artists with free studio space and grant $.
  • The [email protected] Program, which connects local artists to local businesses and enhances our regional creative economy.
  • 40+ arts related events including receptions, lectures, community building gatherings and professional development workshops.

A portion of our proceeds this year will go to some of the local artist relief and arts recovery funds supporting artists, arts presenters, and arts organizations in our community that are also being impacted by the pandemic. We are all in this together! If you are interested in more info on those other efforts, we have a listing under “NEWS” on our website at
