Book Harvest will host its 12th annual Dream Big Book Drive and Community Celebration on the afternoon of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Golden Belt Campus in Durham.
Dream Big is an exciting community celebration filled with entertainment, crafts and activities, appearances by beloved mascots, information tables, and more! Community members are also invited to bring donations of new and gently used children’s books to the event as part of the Triangle’s largest book drive. All donated books will be provided to children in Durham and beyond through Book Harvest’s book access and literacy initiatives.
In addition to collecting donated books, Book Harvest will be inviting guests to select free children’s books to take home and keep forever. Dream Big 2023 is indoors and outdoors, with a drive-through option for book donation drop-off.
