Ley Killeya, newest artist member of 5 Points Gallery, is an English painter and printmaker who moved to the Triangle area from New Jersey in 2002. Taking influences from artists including Matisse, Hyangmok Baik, Egon Schiele and NC artist Reneesha Mccoy, she is interested in exploring how our bodies, and the ways others read them, are used to confer power, limit rights, exercise control, and interrogate identity.
