An event every day that begins at 12:00 pm, repeating indefinitely
This Online and In-House Exhibit runs June 1 – 30, 2020, with Future In-Gallery Viewings by Appointment.
Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] for scheduled viewing options. All virtual exhibits are on view through our website at https://5pointsgallery.com/
We hope that everyone is safe during this extraordinary time. Though our downtown gallery remains temporarily closed, we have certainly appreciated all of the emails, comments and support from you through our online outlets. We are planning to open the gallery on an appointment only basis for the short run.
In the meantime, our 5 Points Gallery virtual gallery celebrates the work of artist Julia Harmon. Her exhibition, Altered States, features a series of mixed media collage pieces and full-scale paintings inspired by them. Her work is a surreal take on the ideals of American culture, using imagery from vintage books and magazines to create subversive narratives.
This exhibition will be on view online, or within the gallery when we can safely reopen (date to be determined).
Please take a moment to view Harmon’s show at https://5pointsgallery.com/julia-harmon-altered-states/
And as always, we hope that you will enjoy the art work…and more importantly, stay safe through your continued involvement within our Durham community.
We will be arranging in-person viewings by appointment. Please email us at [email protected] for details.
