Islands in the Alley returns to Alley Twenty Six in downtown Durham from June 6-Sept. 10. The retro themed pop-up features faux tropical food and drinks harkening back to the era of Trader Vic and Donn the Beachcomber. This year we are expanding Islands in the Alley away from all things tropical and will highlight other important alcohol producing Island Nations as well, such as Scotland and Japan. Favorites like coconut shrimp and the Big Kahuna burger will return to the menu. The cocktail menu will feature classics like the Saturn, Cobra’s Fang and Junglebird and as well as new creations from the Alley Twenty Six bar team.
